Took my little sister and her friend to the mall last night. That was intersesting for sure. But it definitley doesn't hurt to play the "I'm-the-fabulous-big-sister-with-car-keys" role. They love me. They really love me. Especially after I stuffed them with a bunch of sugar. And that news stand in the middle of the food court at the Center? Their ice tea is to-die-for! So. Good. And free refills. What could be better? Not much.

Almost all my stuff is unpacked. Although I think I still have four or five boxes of books floating around somwhere... And in them is my first edition Hiedi that my granpa bought me. It's pretty sweet.

Oh, 2006. How I have longed for you. Not for what you will bring, but mostly for what you will take away. *cough2005cough* In the words of my dramatic little sister, "I am so over 2005!" Ok, enough tween talk.

Yesterday I was running errands and on the road right outside my neighborhood there was a guy standing in the middle of the turn lane with a pick ax. After I passed him he started ripping up the road with his ax. Now, I was in and out all day long and I know for a fact that he didn't leave till it was dark. And I never did see any evidence that he was accomplishing anything. But everytime I drove by he was wacking at the road. Weird, eh?

School starts tomorrow. I don't feel like going back right now. I hope I feel more excited tomorrow. Tootles.

So....packing other people's stuff? Not fun. Not at all. Of course, packing your own stuff isn't fun, but at least you know what to do with it. We're loading all my granma's stuff on a truck today. Hopefully we'll be in our new house by Sunday. This has been a mad-crazy few weeks. So here is a blanket apology: To anyone I was supposed to hang out with or call over break and I didn't, I am so sorry. I still love you. Really, I do. (Except for maybe you...yeah, you. Right there.) Just give me a call once this all settles down and we'll work something out.

In other news, I've made some decisions. Coloring your hair is addictive and I want to do it more, I really love school and wouldn't mind going for my masters and an Ed. degree, the History Channel is my favorite (yes, I really am interested in what Henry III was up to), and I really don't like reading biographies. So there. Tootles.

Alrighty. The results are in. I know what Teek thinks about banks, but after polling a few random people I know, basically, nobody likes banks. And it's even worse if you're a girl because you have to put up with those awful bank tellars. You know, the ones that are really pretty, have super cute clothes, and are friendly, but seem stuck up at the same time? (Odly enough, I never hear guys complain about this.) You know, the girls that worked at Ambercrombie or Holister when they were in high school. Well. Just wanted to let you know I do not approve of their snobby attitudes. Now you know.

I have a dentist appointment on the thirtieth. Yes, this is the same dentist my mom was hoping I would hook up with last time I went. I know. How lame is that? I can't marry a dentist! Someone has too. But not me. It's just not right.

I'm wearing my Rudolph shirt tomorrow. It's a fun shirt. It's so Christmassy. It'll get me in the mood for AWANA. Our theme is 'Happy Birthday Jesus!' I hope we have birthday cake. Tootles.

The semester went out with a bang. Three finals and one flat tire all on the last day of school. Bleh. I really could have done without the flat tire, but nobody asked me.

I found a new way to waste time online. Browsing vintage clothes sites. And someday when my school is built and I have to look fabulous because I'm the boss, I am going to wear a dress, pearls, and heels to work everyday. Well, maybe not everyday. But definitely on Fridays. I strongly disapprove of 'Casual Fridays'. The teacher's at my school will not be allowed to have casual Fridays. In fact, we'll just have 'Dress Up Everyday'. There. I think it will work out nicely.

I love Edward Monkton. He makes me laugh. Go to his site and click on 'Gallery' to read his fine artwork. I prefer 'The Shoe Of Salvation'. What a good thing. Tootles.

*edit* The concert was much fun, Keith is simply to-die-for, yes, I did end up wearing heels, and I take back what I said about becoming goth. I decided it's not really me. Tootles.

Keith Urban tonight and I have nothing to wear. Ok, so I do have a closet full of clothes, but it'll be freezing outside, hot inside, and how are you supposed to wear cute shoes (aka heels) when you'll probably be standing durning the whole thing?! I'm telling you, this whole looking cute thing is most annoying. So annoying in fact, I might just turn goth. Goth is easy. When in doubt, wear black! Ok, so I already do that, but when you're goth nothing has to fit right and your blacks don't have to match. So easy it kills me.

I took my first final today. It went really well. For anyone in Dr. Lidge's ear training class you'll appreciate this: Instead of singing 'Do La' I sang 'Do Ti'! I messed up on Do La! I am so lame. Just kick me out of the class right now. Just give me an 'F'. Piano was easy too. I love easy A's.

Tomorrow is my Granma's auction. It should be very interesting. I am skipping orchestra for it. I hate skipping orchestra but this is a once in a lifetime thing! I'll post pictures for ya'll to see. Tootles.

Kansas City is currently under a tornado watch and some counties to the north are under a warning. I think a tornado hit in Weston. It's November! This is crazy. It's very windy out there. Amd pretty warm. Well, warm for November. The weather is making me miss Extreme Home Makeover. Stupid weather.

Great Move of 2005 *UPDATE* We found a house. It's very pretty on the outside. I still haven't actually been inside it, but from the pictures it looks very nice. And if you or someone you know is in the market for a house, come bid on my Granma's house! It is also very pretty and quite large inside.

I get to see Keith Urban on Thursday! I. Am. So. Excited! Happy, happy thought. Tootles.

Thanksgiving break! Yay! I wish I lived in a movie. That way, today I could have run out of school when the bell rang with all the other kids. But we don't have a bell. And we're not kids. And I don't live in a movie. Maybe if I did my life wouldn't be so complicated. Or maybe it would be more confusing than it is now. I mean, no one ever makes a movie about a boring person, yeah?

I want change. I need change. I'm sick of the person I've become. I'm tired of being a teenager. I'm ready to to be done with this year. Haha, can you tell I'm in a grouchy mood? I don't mean to be. Ok, actually, I do. I feel like being in a bad mood. So there. We'll blame it on the clouds. Who wants clouds at the beginning of break? Certainly not me. I just want ice cream. I think I'll go get me some. Have a fantabulous Thanksgiving everyone. Tootles.

First off, why is everybody mad that I don't like snow?! What is wrong with you people? It's cold, it gives you frostbite, and it may look pretty at first, but then after a few days it turns grey and mushy and turns into sludge. Cold sludge. How gross is that? Very gross. And still, very cold. I was driving home in rush hour traffic and people are slamming their brakes on left and right. And always for no apparent reason. And then, right there, in the middle lane, on I-70, there was a box. It was empty, but it was just right there. On the highway. So people are dodging that. So I turned on the radio and I hear Chopin's Opus 9, No.2 in E-Flat. And I felt like I was in a commercial. You know, the commercials where some luxury car is swerving all over the road, dodging falling boulders, logs falling off of trucks, and slamming on their breaks for some little kids runaway ball. And all while some famous, soothing classical piano piece plays in the background. That was my drive home. Tootles.

*edit* It's snowing. I hate snow. Stupid snow. Go away!

Eight more days till Thanksgiving break. Seventeen more days until the Keith Urban concert. I got my hair cut yesterday. Just a trim. And some bangs and layers. And I also got it colored a dark chocolate brown on the underside. But you can't tell. Not at all! I am most upset. I'm gonna go back and make them fix it. I swear they mixed the color up wrong or something. In other news, opera is killing my hands. I actually had shooting pain in my right hand towards the end of the night. It was a very long night. But it was made better because Amanda brought cookies! There is one part in the opera when some girl is singing an aria and it's sounds like she's saying, "In your face!" over and over. I laugh everytime. I think on Wednesday night we might have a pajama party in the pit. Everyone comes in their pj's! I think it sounds fun. Stupid opera is making me miss Thanksgiving dinner at my Oma's. I don't know if I'll ever get over this. I might need therapy. And lots of it, too. Tootles.
